London’s Calling!

Explore this vast and diverse 21st century city with history stretching back to Roman times. This tour celebrates everything quintessentially British, from historical castles to the cobbled streets of Victorian London, to the West End.

Day 1 - Welcome to London

Arrive at your London airport before a coach tour of the city with a local guide. Take in the capital’s skyline, viewing sights across the city including Big Ben, London Eye, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, before checking into your hotel. 

 

Day 2 - Along the Thames

Board your coach and start your day in historic Westminster before taking in the sights along the Thames during a city cruise to Tower Bridge. Visit the Tower of London, home to the infamous Crown Jewels. Hop over the Thames via Tower Bridge for a guided tour of Shakespeare’s Globe, a reconstruction of the Globe Theatre for which William Shakespeare wrote his plays. Enjoy your evening at leisure exploring the capital. 

 

Day 3 - Shakespeare’s Stratford

Travel into the English countryside and visit Stratford-Upon-Avon, a medieval market town and home to world-famous playwright William Shakespeare. Visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway Cottage and Shakespeare’s New Place to retrace the steps of his childhood, which provided inspiration for some of the most iconic theatre of our time. Return to London for an evening at leisure.

 

Day 4 - Windsor & Oxford

Start your day with a trip to Windsor Castle, home to 1000 years of royal history and the late Queen Elizabeth II’s fi nal resting place. Journey on to the historic city of Oxford and enjoy a guided tour of the city. Visit the colleges of Oxford University, dating back almost 1000 years, with some time at leisure before your return to London. 

 

Day 5- London at leisure

Travel like a local today with your London Underground travelcard and enjoy a full day at leisure. Shop ‘til you drop on Oxford Street, visit museums such as the V&A and British Museum, or indulge in London’s culinary delights at Borough Market. Re-join your group for your final evening and enjoy a farewell dinner followed by a West End show. 

 

Day 6 - Farewell Britain

Enjoy your last hours in this iconic and diverse city before boarding the coach to the airport for the journey home.
