Venture from Lisbon to Porto via the jagged coastline, historical cities, and Douro Valley vineyards. Here, tradition and modernity blend together in perfect harmony. Its superb cuisine, fine wines and hospitable people make this a tourist paradise of the highest quality.

Day 1 - Welcome to Lisbon!

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a local guide and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a tour of Lisbon and get better acquainted with the city. In the evening, discover the local cuisine and traditional music with a dinner in a local restaurant accompanied by a Fado performance. 

 

Day 2 - Enchanting Sintra

You’ll meet with the group before delving into a full day tour of Lisbon. On a visit to the Tile Painting Museum, you’ll have the opportunity to paint your own tiles. In the afternoon, visit Sintra and discover the famous Pena Palace.

 

Day 3 & 4 - Countryside

 After departing Lisbon, learn how to make the famous Pastel de Nata pastry during a mouth-watering cooking class. On your way to Fatima, pass through the charming fishing town of Nazaré. After a restful night, journey to Tomar where you’ll visit the World Heritage-listed Convent of Christ and the 15th- century synagogue. After sampling some of the local pastries and enjoying time at leisure, return to Fatima.

 

Day 5 -Coimbra & Viseu

Travel to Coimbra, where you’ll visit the famous Joanina Library. After some free time in the city centre, the road will take you to charming Viseu, considered to be the best city to live in Portugal.

 

Day 6 - Douro Wine Valley

Journey through the beautiful Douro Valley, with plenty of magnificent views of the Douro River along the way. Your journey includes a stop for a winery visit, tastings and a picnic lunch. Then you’ll take a leisurely boat trip to Peso da Régua in an electric rabelo boat. 

 

Day 7 & 8 - Porto the Invictus

Travel to Porto, the unconquered capital of the North of Portugal. Visit one of famous port wine cellars and enjoy an indulgent port tasting. The following day tour Porto with an expert local guide, where you’ll tick off some important landmarks including the Clerigos Tower, Aliados Avenue, the cathedral and the Ribeira district. In the afternoon, learn about Portuguese cuisine with a 3-course menu cooking class. The following day it is time to say good-bye to this beautiful country and fabulous new friends. Transfer to the airport for your flight home
